In a meaningful collaboration aimed at promoting digital literacy and sustainability, Rentwise joined hands with Arvato Systems Malaysia to donate remanufactured desktops and laptops to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Seri Anggerik. This initiative is part of Rentwise’s Digital Learning Empowerment Programme (DLEP), which provides underprivileged students with access to digital education by donating remanufactured computers to schools through partnerships with its clients.

By leveraging the DLEP framework, Rentwise and Arvato Systems Malaysia aim to empower students with technology tools necessary for academic excellence and participation in innovative projects, such as robotics, game coding, and 3D software development. This collaboration not only bridges the digital divide but also reflects a shared commitment to fostering environmentally responsible practices and advancing education for a sustainable future.

To mark the occasion, a gracing ceremony was held on December 19, 2024, at SK Seri Anggerik. The event was a celebration of the positive impact of technology on education and the shared vision of the stakeholders to bridge the digital divide. It was attended by distinguished guests, from Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Bangsar/Pudu, Rentwise and Arvato Systems Malaysia.

Driving Digital Learning Through Technology

The donated 8 desktops and 7 laptops, valued at RM41,310, have already begun to make a significant impact on the students’ lives. These devices are now essential tools for digital learning, empowering students to participate in international competitions such as robotics, game coding, and 3D software development. By integrating technology into the classroom, SK Seri Anggerik is fostering a generation of tech-savvy, innovative thinkers equipped to face tomorrow’s challenges.

Sustainability Meets Education

This collaboration underscores the importance of sustainability in the IT sector. By choosing remanufactured devices, Rentwise and Arvato Systems Malaysia demonstrate how environmentally conscious decisions can positively impact communities. Remanufactured IT equipment not only helps reduce e-waste but also offers high-performance solutions that meet the demands of modern education.
